Only a few days before one of Europe’s most amazing Blues festivals, Blues in Hell kick off.
This festival was established in 1992, and in the days of 1. – 4. September, 2022, we are ready for the 31st annual festival in Hell, Norway
Blues in Hell has grown to become one of Europe’s most amazing blues festivals.
First weekend in September each year thousands of visitor’s flock to Hell for a beautiful experience. Aside from the incredible music you’ll find at Hell, perhaps the best part of the festival is the location – only two hours from Europe. By using the five star mega hotel Scandic Hell as arena, the festival can offer four stages with non stop Blues during 3 days.
Blues in Hell wishes to create a magic experience where place, culture and history are creating a perfect setting for musical meetings between artists and audience.
Blues in Schools, Youth Blues in Hell, Blues Seminars, Senior Blues, are just some examples that make Blues in Hell an excited total experience.
More than 30 different artists and bands visit the festival each year. Top int. blues artists are well represented, but we are also offering the best Norwegian blues artists.
The main stage is the spectacular 1 200 capacity Hell Amfi and there’s also three other venues wit capasity 100 – 500. The total capacity at the festival area is 2000 each night and the audience pays one ticket to get into the festival hotel. You can walk in between the four stages and will have a choose of apx. 15 artists each night.
Scandic Hell kitchen serves delicious ecologic food made of local commodities.
The festival also host a top art exhibition every year.
