Thanks to the collaboration with Åmåls Blues Association, we are very proud to announce that the European Blues Union will reserve every year 2 scholar ship in Åmåls School of Blues.
For whom: Youth aged 15-20’s, for international participants age 18-20´s and a certain amount of prior knowledge is a prerequisite to be able to assimilate the course. If you play an instrument, it´s great if you can bring your own, if you play drums or keyboards, you do not need to bring your own instruments. Amplifiers are available on site.
During the days, in addition to playing music, there will also be visits from professional blues musicians. The school has been visited by Lil’ Jimmie Reed (US), Sofie Reed, Dan Magnusson (The drummer of Seasick Steve) as well as Austin Walkin’ Cane (US).
