After three days of outstanding live performances and an impressive lineup of talented bands from across Europe, the final results of the 14th edition of the European Blues Challenge 2026 have been officially announced.
The event took place in the prestigious NOSPR Theatre in Katowice, offering an exceptional setting for the grand finale.
The competition showcased some of the finest contemporary blues acts, highlighting the diversity and vitality of the European blues scene. After an intense and high-level final night, the jury reached its decision:
1st place – Adama Janlo Band (Norway)
2nd place – Gloria and The Doctors (Italy)
3rd place – Sir Joe Cocchi & Balta Bordoy – The Blues Way (Spain)
Special Award Solo/Duo – Tom Eylenbosch – Belgium
The 2026 edition of the European Blues Challenge once again confirmed its role as a key platform for emerging and established blues artists, bringing together musicians, industry professionals, and fans in a celebration of blues music and culture.
