The EBU Board was visiting in 2025 two important Blues Festivals in Europe that took place in Switzerland – the Lucerne Blues Festival, and in Czech Republic – the Blues Alive Festival, during the same weekend.
Three board members, Pertti, Roser and Jostein, were in Lucerne and had the chance to spread the EBU word and meet old and new friends, together with great musicians for an incredible 30th anniversary edition.
This year program on the beautiful Casino on the lake was full of stars as Kid Ramos, Brian Tempelton, Stephen Hull, Sean “Mack” Mackdonald, Matthew Skoller, Precious Taylor, Tutu Jones, Jerry Portnoy and many others.
Two other Board members, Davide and Fred, were in Sumperk at the festival organized by a new board member Stepan with two big stages. Incredible artists like Walter Trout, Alice Armstrong, winner of EBC 2025 in Split, the Cinelli Brothers, Selwyn Borchwood, Jerron Paxton, Sari Schorr, Joanna Connor, Kiero Grande, GA-20, Mark Hummel and many others hit the stage.
