On October 3rd and 4th, EBU Board Member Fred Delforge was present in Frederikshavn, Denmark, for the 2025 edition of the Blues Heaven Festival. Exceptionally moved from mid-November to early October this year, the festival showcased a vibrant mix of European blues talents alongside established American acts, reaffirming its international scope and artistic excellence.

Despite the high-caliber lineup, attendance was impacted by severe weather conditions that halted ferry services from Norway and Sweden. Contrary to initial speculation, the reduced turnout was not linked to recent drone-related disruptions in Danish airspace.
