Vallemaggia Magic Blues 2026: The 24th Edition Begins
The curtain rises on the 24th edition of Vallemaggia Magic Blues, one of Southern Switzerland’s most beloved summer music festivals. From July to August, the picturesque squares of Vallemaggia will once again become open-air stages, hosting an outstanding lineup that blends blues with rock, soul, jazz and contemporary influences.
This year’s edition features an exceptional program, including legendary artists such as Miller Anderson, Colosseum, Paul Jones, John Etheridge, Eric Steckel, Sideburn, and the long-awaited return of Eric Sardinas.
The festival will also host the 8th European Blues Night, featuring Italy’s Sacromud, the Eve Gallagher Band, winners of the latest Swiss Blues Challenge, and French blues outfit Charb-On! Alongside internationally acclaimed performers, the festival continues its tradition of showcasing exciting new talents and emerging artists.
The festival opens on Friday, July 10, in Brontallo with the traditional Opening Night. Headlining the evening is the Ty Le Blanc Band from El Paso, Texas. Known for her soulful voice and sophisticated blend of blues, soul, R&B, jazz and alternative rock, Ty Le Blanc will present music from her latest album after performing at prestigious venues and festivals across Europe.
Opening the night will be Swiss blues-rock band The Green Led, making their festival debut with an energetic live show led by vocalist Vanessa Krättli.
With its motto “Back to the Roots!”, Vallemaggia Magic Blues once again promises an unforgettable summer of world-class live music in the unique atmosphere of the Swiss Alps.
