Welcome to a New EBU Member: Megève Blues Festival
The European Blues Union is delighted to welcome a new member to our growing blues family: the Megève Blues Festival.
The 2026 edition of the festival will take place in Megève, France, from July 31 to August 2, featuring an outstanding international lineup including Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Coco Montoya, Bette Smith, Matt Pascale & The Stomps, Lovesick, Nikki Hill, Ally Venable, and Troy Redfern.
Founded in 2014 by the late Stéphane Huget, the Megève Blues Festival quickly established itself as one of France’s most appreciated blues events. After ten successful years in the historic Place de l’Église, the festival has moved to a larger and even more inspiring venue: the Pré Saint-Amour, a beautiful green space opening onto the heart of the village.
This new location holds special meaning, as it was particularly dear to Stéphane Huget and offers the festival the opportunity to continue growing while opening an exciting new chapter in its history.
The festival will, however, maintain its connection with its original home. The Village Stage in Place de l’Église will continue to host the popular Tremplins (Emerging Talent Showcases) on Saturday, August 1, and Sunday, August 2, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, featuring free performances by local and emerging bands.
We are proud to welcome the Megève Blues Festival to the EBU network and look forward to following its continued success in the years ahead.
