Young Blues Musicians Experience the Blues in Clarksdale, Mississippi

Our students had an incredible time in the United States, travelling to Clarksdale, Mississippi, one of the most iconic destinations in blues history. Their experience included participating in the Pinetop Perkins Foundation Workshops and discovering the local blues scene through live music performances, including concerts at the legendary Ground Zero Blues Club.

From hands-on musical learning to experiencing authentic blues performances, the trip offered young musicians a valuable opportunity to deepen their knowledge of the blues, connect with its roots and gain inspiration from the artists and culture that keep this music alive.

Watch the live footage below to discover some of the highlights and see what our students experienced during their time in Clarksdale.
