Blues In The Garden Festival – Season 6
The story of the Blues In The Garden Festival has now reached its sixth season, one that was eagerly anticipated by festivalgoers. Their expectations were more than met by a remarkable lineup featuring two Grammy Award-winning artists, Judith Hill and Sheryl Youngblood; eight-time British Blues Awards nominee Will Wilde, recognized for “Best Harmonica Player” and “Instrumentalist of the Year”; and exceptional guitarist Eric Johanson, ranked among the Top 50 guitarists of all time.
The festival also welcomed Jamiah Rogers, a young artist who was once encouraged by Buddy Guy and John Primer with the words: “Youth, you have to take the blues further!” Alongside these established names, the lineup featured artists who are currently making their mark or returning to the spotlight, including Ellis Mano Band, Thomas Heppell, Santiago Periotti, Circle Of Mud, Johanna Red, and Kat Pearson.
Ana Pătan was inducted into the Blues In The Garden Hall of Fame 2025 in recognition of her career and her outstanding contribution to the promotion of blues culture and music.
The festival also continued its commitment to supporting young talent. Romanian band Leoaia, formed by young musicians who took part last year in the Guitar Master Class led by their teacher Alexandru Gavril, was given the opportunity to step onto the festival’s main stage and open the event—a significant moment for the next generation of blues musicians.

The artistic creation camp, Chromatic and Musical Harmonies, featuring invited painters from Romania and the Republic of Moldova, also returned for its second edition, taking place in the lead-up to and throughout the festival.
It was a successful season, filled with challenges, but also with hope and optimism in an increasingly troubled and unpredictable world.
